Tastnou 2024
- VARIETAL: Syrah 100%

Vineyards & Viticulture
We have a shaded plot of Syrah that matures more slowly. This generates a naturally low sugar content.
Vintage 2024
The year was marked by the worst drought in 30 years in our area. With 70 litres of rainfall from November to May and 40 litres in June, the total for the rain season (November-September) was 247 litres. We have irrigation but, only to help ripening during Agust and Sepetember and hence we could not cope the deficit. Temperatures from June to August were normal. The yield was reduced for whites to a half and for reds by one third. There was no rain or other weather circumstances that caused problems during harvest.
Harvest
It is harvested aby the end of September and we’re not really doing an early harvesting in that sense. We carry out a precise and selective night harvest per plot. Harvesting in cool conditions helps us to preserve the aromas. The location of our winery within the estate favors a quality result since a minimum amount of time elapses from the time the grapes are in the vineyard until they reach the protected tank.
Winemaking Process
Young wine without ageing. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, using indigenous yeasts.
Tasting Notes
Clear and bright pink colour, aromatic and fruity, mainly of red fruits. Smooth taste and fresh, with a crunchy well-balanced acidity with long finish.
Food Pairing
With raw fish-sushi, quality tinned fish/shellfish (Spanish conservas). As a counterpoint to spicier Latin and Asian dishes, Thai yellow curry, or Chicken Tikka Masala.
